This website uses cookies and other tracking tools to offer you a better, personalised web service. This Notice transparently informs you of how and for what purposes cookies and other tracking tools are used on this website.
What are cookies and other tracking tools, what are they for and who installs them?
Cookies are small text strings that the websites you visit send to your device (e.g. PC, tablet, smartphone…), where they are stored and/or read by your web browser, and which allow the browser to send information to whoever installed the cookies in order to offer you an optimal browsing experience, produce visit statistics and, where applicable, offer you personalised content and targeted advertising. Cookies are contained in various elements hosted on the website page itself (such as advertising banners, images, videos, etc.).
While browsing this website, you may receive the following cookies on your device: first-party cookies, which are sent by the controller's website you are visiting; and third-party cookies, which are sent by a website other than the one you are visiting, which installs its own cookies through the controller's website.
The management of and responsibility for first-party cookies lie with the controller, whereas the controller has no control over third-party cookies, either over the third party's activity or over the possibility that it may modify them over time. With regard to third-party cookies, the controller acts as an intermediary. The cookies and other tracking tools used by this website can be classified into the following macro-categories:
Technical cookies, which are needed for the website to function;
Profiling cookies, which are used to track user behaviour and analyse it in order to offer services based on the user's preferences.
Who is the data controller?
The controller of your personal data is WowHaus, with registered office at Via della Costituzione, 133 - 30038 Spinea VE, Italy, VAT No. 04402760278, ciao@wowhaus.it. The controller will act in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness and transparency, and will protect your privacy and your rights.
Which cookies and other tracking tools does this website use? For what purposes and on what legal basis? Is providing data mandatory? What happens if I do not provide it?
This website uses only technical cookies, which do not require the user's consent and are used for the purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network or providing an information service explicitly requested by you. This category includes the following cookies, each with its respective purpose: browsing or session cookies (which ensure normal browsing and use of the website, allowing you, for example, to make a purchase or log in to access restricted areas); anonymised analytics cookies (used solely to collect information, in aggregate form and therefore not traceable to any individual, on the number of users, the most visited pages and the locations from which users connect, in order to compile statistics on the service and on the use of the website. These cookies may also be third-party cookies; in this case, however, the website controller has anonymised them and the third party refrains from combining the analytics cookies with other processing or passing them on to further third parties); and functionality cookies (which allow users to browse according to a set of selected criteria, for example language or products selected for purchase, in order to improve the service provided to them). Providing the data collected through the cookies described above is not mandatory; however, it is necessary in order to connect to the website and receive the service. If such data is partially or entirely withheld, you will not be able to use the website or may experience problems using it.
You can manage your consent for each category of cookies and other tracking tools directly in the dedicated cookie section, accessible from the banner or at the bottom of the page, by disabling any categories of cookies that are not necessary for the website to function.
The cookies in this notice and in the banner are grouped into homogeneous categories. If you would like the complete, real-time list of cookies and their retention periods, contact the controller: they will provide it to you!

Where is personal data located?
Some data collected by cookies may be transferred abroad to locations outside the European Union. Any such transfer will in all cases be carried out in compliance with the safeguards required by the GDPR for this type of activity.
Who can access your data? To whom do we disclose it?
Data collected through cookies may be used by collaborators authorised by the Controller, such as staff responsible for website maintenance and management, marketing and administration. It may also be used by third parties (providers of services, IT infrastructure and the like involved in managing and supervising the website) acting on behalf of the Controller and duly appointed as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 of the GDPR. With your consent, it may also be used by third parties that install their own cookies on the Controller's website.
What are your rights as a data subject?
The GDPR grants you the following rights in relation to your personal data, which you may exercise within the limits and in accordance with applicable law: right of access to your personal data (Art. 15); right to rectification (Art. 16); right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") (Art. 17); right to restriction of processing (Art. 18); right to data portability (Art. 20); right to object (Art. 21), in which case the Controller will refrain from processing unless it demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (Art. 22); and right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal. You can exercise these rights by sending a written request to the Controller at the postal or email address indicated above.
Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali – www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe that the processing of your data breaches applicable law (Art. 77), or to take legal action (Art. 79).
